Communication and Conflict Management for Business Families

Communication and Conflict Management for Business Families is an educational program developed to address the complexities of communication in a family business setting. This course is divided into three modules and combines communication theory with the advice and experience of family business owners and scholars. The course:

• Provides a communication theory primer, illustrating how body language, word choice and tone of voice can say volumes
• Addresses the delicate balance of family and business communication and demonstrates helpful practices to manage it
• Identifies the common causes of conflict in business families and develops a toolbox of conflict management techniques
