"Smart-up." New thinking. New value.

How to prepare the next generation to take over? It is a timeless question among entrepreneurial families. The real question is how best to close the gap between the core business and what next gens envision for their future. Perhaps it’s time for an Intrapreneurial Initiative.

Who's involved in intrapreneurship?

For intrapreneurship to be successful, it takes two! It's all about a generation of young leaders tapping into existing knowledge and resources of existing owners to make their "smart-up" a success.

The goal

The goal of the program is to support an aspiring entrepreneur connected to a business, in the creation of a new intrapreneurial project (a business, a new division of a business, a new product, a new app) that will contribute to a stronger economic future for the company.

Who we are

Here at the Intrapreneurial Initiative, we believe that every business can generate new opportunities. In a world of aspiring entrepreneurs, it is time to value innovation within existing businesses and adopt a practice with a more effective way of generating new value for today's economy.

The program

Our program is perfect for inspiring entrepreneurs who are currently in a business that is looking to promote innovation and growth from within. The intrapreneurial duo - consisting of the entrepreneur and mentor from the business - attend in-person sessions together, and complete individual learning modules online.

We unite cohorts of intrapreneur-mentor pairs who are challenged to create a "smart-up" by the end of the program.

Over 12 weeks, the participants are assisted by:

  • 36 hours of coaching and consulting
  • 5 in-person workshops
  • Masterclass providing insights into what it takes to succeed at intrapreneurship
  • Access to personalized online resources
  • Support from webinars and ideation workshops
  • Exclusive discussions with experienced intrapreneurs

Our project is truly innovative. To be honest, if I had talked to my father about this project in 1978, he would have said ‘We are not doing that. It will be the end for the firm.’ But today, I can proudly say, he thinks differently.
