So, I love the concept of knowing your purpose. I am a believer, I guess through my coaching practice, of knowing your ‘why’ is what allows you to propel yourself forward in whatever endeavor you're wanting to move forward on. When it comes to family enterprise, what I think a basis to answer that question is, that purpose is even stronger when it’s co-created by the multiple generations. When you bring everyone together to know what each individual's value is so that you can then have a collective family value and each individual, knowing what their value and their own individual mission in life is, which may not necessarily be exactly what the family’s mission is, is that you have got to accept that for the individual, again coming down to the total wealth. Understanding the human, understanding where the individual stands and together then, you can collectively work towards something. There’s a saying, if you’re happy inside, then it’s contagious and you make everyone else around you happy. If you can have that for the whole family, where everybody’s individual purpose, as well as collective purpose as a family is brought together, then you become an unstoppable family.
