Honouring The Previous Generation

Listen to Lena as she explains the importance of honouring the previous generation. In a family business, respect for the history of the business, as well as for the previous generation, creates commitment and a sense of pride in the rising generation.

Almost everybody has this very strong sense of commitment and belonging and also, the sense of respect toward the older generations. So that may be something that keeps us together and also, I wouldn’t think anybody would say “that’s not interesting” or “that’s not my thing”. Everybody doesn’t have to be as committed or as active or involved, but still this sense of belonging and sense of respect and also sense of pride for what we own. I think that is the key.
