Focus on Family

Annie Koh talks about the importance of focusing on family dynamics and how it will impact business relationships.

I think a lot of times in Asian culture, the business part of it is always easier to deal with. Because everyone’s coming into the business focus on the business. But business issues are not the most important when you want families to be harmonious and to stay in business. So the undercurrents of looking after the family dynamics are actually a very critical portion of many business families in Asia today. So I really think more focus should be on families and dynamics, and the business part will come in nicely much later if you’ve got the family dynamics right.
