Preserving the Enterprising Family

Why is the business family more important than the family business? Gonzalo Jimenez explains.

The most meaningful aspect are the family. So for me, the business family is much more important than the family business. Because if you have a powerful, empowered, passionate business family, you will have many enterprises, many companies, many new initiatives, starting out new entrepreneurial initiatives. So in that sense, I think I would advise families to be more obsessed about themselves, their capacities to grow healthy relationships with the family members, with the next generation, instead of just getting obsessed with their family enterprise.
